2. Seafood
Shrimp, fish, and other delicate seafood cook very quickly. Slow-cooking them can turn them rubbery or mushy. Add seafood in the last 30 minutes of cooking instead.
3. Pasta and Noodles
Regular pasta tends to become mushy in a slow cooker. If you want pasta in your dish, cook it separately and stir it in just before serving.
